Toyota Ireland is proud to be a Premier Sponsor of Special Olympics Ireland until 2028.

This partnership will support Special Olympics Ireland's work to create inclusive communities where people with intellectual disabilities can take part, contribute and thrive through sport.

It also continues a relationship that stretches back more than 20 years. Toyota first partnered with Special Olympics in 2003 when Ireland hosted the Special Olympics World Summer Games, helping to create a lasting legacy of inclusion and community spirit.

Today, we are proud to support Special Olympics athletes, families, volunteers and local clubs across the country. 

 

Why the Special Olympics is Special

From 18 to 21 June 2026, more than 1,200 athletes from across Ireland will compete in the Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games.

The Games are Ireland's largest inclusive sporting event, bringing together athletes, families, volunteers and supporters for four days of sport, celebration and community.

What makes the Special Olympics special is not just the competition. It is the determination of the athletes, the friendships formed, the support from families and volunteers, and the sense of belonging that runs through every event.

These are moments that inspire communities and remind us of the power of sport to bring people together.
